The program, which is based on the same-named comics, has been a fixture on both AMC and Netflix (depending on where you reside) for years. The program has been available on Netflix in the United States since 2014, with fresh seasons released each year afterward (except season 10 which was delayed due to COVID-19).

Season 11 is also ending on a high note with an enlarged season. The last season will include 24 episodes, which is two more than season 10.

As previously stated, only The Walking Dead is available on Netflix. The other spin-off shows have all made their way onto competing streaming platforms throughout the world, such as Amazon Prime, Disney+, and others.

With the next season premiering on AMC on August 22nd, 2021. It finished its eighth episode on AMC on October 10th before going on hiatus for the rest of the season. The rest of the last season is set to premiere on February 20th, 2022, with the episode “No Other Way.”

According to Unogs, the eleventh season will be available on Netflix in at least 26 countries.

The Walking Dead season 11 part 3 cast: Who’s in it?

Some of the familiar faces of Alexandria, Oceanside, and Hilltop will return in the final season as they continue to acclimate to this new, zombie-filled way of life.

Daryl (Norman Reedus), Carol (Melissa McBride), Ezekiel (Khary Payton), Negan (Jeffrey Dean Morgan), Rosita Espinosa (Christian Serratos), Father Gabriel Stokes (Seth Gilliam), Magna (Nadia Hilker), Lydia (Cassady McClincy), Yumiko (Eleanor Matsuura), and Mercer are some of the prominent characters (Michael James Shaw).

Then there’s ruler Lance Hornsby (Josh Hamilton), who we’ll get to in a second.

Lauren Cohan, who portrays Maggie, has also returned after a long absence. At New York Comic-Con, Cohan described her homecoming as “totally bizarre” (via The Hollywood Reporter).

When will Season 11 of The Walking Dead be released on Netflix?

Typically, Netflix releases new seasons shortly before the next AMC season begins, but that will not be the case here. While we don’t anticipate that to change the date, it’s something to consider. With a longer season duration, this might also affect the Netflix release date.

Previous seasons have been released concurrently on Netflix USA and Netflix Canada, and we anticipate that pattern to continue.

While we can’t offer you a specific date, we predict season 11 of The Walking Dead will debut on Netflix in the United States and Canada anytime between August and November 2022, with September being the most likely release month.

The release dates for other locations may vary, but all territories that broadcast the show will ultimately see it appear throughout the course of 2022 or, at worst, early 2023.

The Walking Dead season 11 part 3 spoilers: What will happen?

Things were not looking good for a number of folks towards the end of Part B. Lance Hornsby had established a monopoly of authority over the three main survivor locations of Alexandria, Hilltop, and now Oceanside… albeit what he intended to do with that dominance was unknown.

Part of the Commonwealth, it’s unclear if he was going against Governor Milton or whether he was following orders… we’ll find out soon enough. In any case, Maggie, Daryl, Aaron, and Gabriel are on their hit list for causing trouble for the strong human organisation.

With Judith and Gracie stranded in a leaking basement and Carol, Aaron, and Connie stuck in a storm, the last third of the season is full of cliffhangers to be addressed.

Because to COVID-19 constraints, writer Angela Kang had to change plans for a portion of season 11 in October, as she described to Insider.

“For episode eight, we had a very different sort of episode planned, and we had to get pretty pragmatic about what we could actually accomplish in the plot,” she explained. “So it’s simply been a succession of judgments like that, which should be largely imperceptible to the audience if they don’t know what’s going on behind the scenes.

“It’s been obviously different for us. We must devise new strategies. To mask our constraints, we must employ multiple venues… It is for good reason, and we just, you know, roll with it because safety is more essential.”

Kang also detailed what fans can anticipate in the season 11 finale, saying: “There will be some twists and turns and disclosures, and we will always aim to make it terrifying. Hopefully, all of that will be available to everyone as we go towards a conclusion.”

“What I’ll say is, there are people like Daryl who find themselves in situations that are so different in some respects from ones they’ve been in before,” Kang continued.

“So they’re navigating them in ways that can be difficult for their characters, because they thought they knew how the world worked or where they fit in their group, and now they’re having to stretch beyond their circle.

The Walking Dead spinoffs: What’s happening?

Like The Walking Dead, just because something is coming to an end doesn’t mean it will be without a struggle.

This isn’t just a one-off programme; it’s a world, with The Walking Dead: World Beyond and Fear the Walking Dead already in the works, as well as the long-promised Rick Grimes film starring Michonne (Danai Gurira).

In October 2020, Gimple stated Collider, “We’re going to be writing storylines with Michonne again.” “In many respects, her departure from the series marked the beginning of the plot.

“Movies take a little longer, and we’re experimenting in all kinds of ways,” Gimple continued. “Then the pandemic occurred, providing us with the chance or obligation to do so.

“That is still something we do. Andy [Andrew Lincoln] is really engaged. Robert Kirkman, the creator, is very engaged. It is, in fact, moving forward. It’s only that our current circumstances have provided us with some more time, which we appear to require regardless. We are determined to do it properly.”

In addition, Gimple and AMC are developing another anthology spin-off series, Tales of the Walking Dead, which will debut later in 2022. Each episode of the six-part series will focus on a different actor or setting.

The return of Alpha, Samantha Morton’s legendary nemesis from seasons nine and ten, was announced in April 2022. The news was hailed by fans and presumably by Morton, who had a great time filming the show.

“We simply accomplished so much. Jeffrey Dean Morgan, our collaboration blew my mind. Melissa and I, some of the work we had to do in the series, and everyone – Cassidy, Ryan, and Norman – and I just like them all. Even performers I didn’t work with were like family to me. ‘Oh, I’m going to miss you all so much,’ I thought. It was the finest job I’d ever had “Morton stated when she departed the show.
