Hello, You. We’ve missed you since it’s been a while. You still manage to capture us after three seasons with your twisted story of a serial murderer with an obsession for the next love of his life, regardless of the cost.
Have you missed us similarly?
The streaming service renewed You for a fourth season before the third season even premiered, and we’ve been waiting for news since October 2021.
Mercifully, we now have some.
Here is the most recent information regarding the addictively troublesome Netflix series.
You season 4 Release Date
The fourth season of You has been revealed to consist of two parts.
On February 10, 2023, the first half of the season was released, just in time for Valentine’s Day. The second instalment will be released on March 10, 2023, after a month-long delay. So mark these days in your calendars!
The Netflix crew tweeted a clapperboard from the set with the date that filming for season four officially began in London on March 22, 2022. Blood naturally dripped from the board, considering that Joe was involved.

It is also possible that they are filming in Paris, given there is where we last saw him at the conclusion of season three.
You season 4 Cast
Penn Badgley will return as our twisted protagonist, Joe Goldberg… or, as he is now known to the majority of his peers, Professor Jonathan Moore.
Joe has a pattern of rebranding himself from season to season, and this time is no exception – however the largest deceit in terms of scope. It appears that Joe is no longer a stay-at-home parent; he is now a professor at a university, giving him access to a variety of students and faculty members.
Given that his ex-wife Love Quinn (Victoria Pedretti) was burned to death in their suburban home at the end of season three, it seems unlikely that Victoria will return to the cast. However, the ghosts of Joe’s ex-girlfriends do occasionally return to torment him, if only in his mind.
Badgley revealed to Entertainment Weekly why he believes it was the correct choice to end that portion of the plot: “They’ve had their arc. It felt like, “Okay, if this is going to happen, it’s time.” We’ve travelled to many locations and experienced both highs and lows.
“To me, it signifies a very meaningful conclusion to Joe’s chapters. In order for Joe’s entire system to continue functioning, I believe there will need to be a number of substantial, basic adjustments. Because we’ve saw him endure so much now. Regarding the show’s tone, there may be a pre-Love and post-Love period, because I’m not sure how much can be repeated.”
Tati Gabrielle will also reprise her role as Marienne, the next “you” at the centre of Joe’s universe. After falling in love with him while working in the same library, she escaped to Paris on the advice of Love, who warned her of his possibly harmful behaviour. Therefore, he has gone to retrieve her and her daughter. Despite the fact that his death was widely reported in the media, no one attended the funeral. We do not anticipate a happy outcome.
In addition, Euphoria’s Lukas Gage will join the cast in the fourth season. Netflix confirmed on February 17, 2022, that his character will become a series regular (and Joe’s frequent adversary) on the show. Therefore, he must guard his back.
According to Deadline, Gage will play businessman Adam, “an ex-pat American and the youngest son of a wealthy East-Coast mogul.” However, Adam has a losing trend when it comes to matching the expectations of his prosperous family.
“Adam brings an entire suitcase full of emotional baggage to the show. The supposedly fun-loving party guy is actually a gambler with a terrible secret, which he conceals through self-medication. His friends and girlfriend may have made a grave error by placing their trust in him due to his eagerness to prove himself.”
Lukas Gage is coming for You.

Gage celebrated his new position with many Instagram stories in which he announced the news and expressed his “extreme excitement”
However, we wish you the best of luck in surviving the remainder of the season, dear friend. Those who irritate Joe typically do not stick around for very long.

You season 4 Plot
The first teaser reveals that Joe is beginning his career as a professor, but we have no other information.
We last saw Joe in Paris, where he had just murdered Love, who, to be fair, had attempted to slice his neck first. He even faked his own death in the same fire in which Love perished in order to escape the shackles of his marriage and his life.
The only disadvantage was handing over his son Henry to their neighbour Dante and his husband, although knowing it was in Henry’s best interests. (We cannot say he is in error.)
Sera Gamble discussed how Joe’s abandonment of Henry could impact the upcoming season.
She stated to E! News: “You cannot deny that something so monumental happened to a character. I believe it will influence him from this point on. And even his precise plan for when and if he would return for his son is something we will discuss for hours upon hours upon hours in between munchies.”
Joe has travelled to the French capital to find Marienne, and considering his propensity for stalking, he is certain to find her. But he’s meant to be dead after being slaughtered by Love and baked into a pie, which should make for an intriguing talk between the two when they do meet, especially considering that Love disclosed some horrific facts about Joe to Marienne.
In an interview with TV Line, Badgley remarked, “I believe that if Joe finds her, he will live happily ever after and have beautiful children.” “He will learn French, become a writer, spend a great deal of time beside the Seine, and send their children to school in Sweden.
“No, I don’t believe Joe will change. A person who is thus severely unwell, disturbed, traumatised, and violent faces a formidable obstacle if they are to ever recover and change. “I’m not sure if it’s conceivable for someone who’s so far gone.”
You season 4 Trailer
The first clip provides us a glimpse of the folks we’re going to meet, and it’s easy to imagine Joe disliking them all.
From the infuriating social climbers to the women just beyond his reach, we are aware that every single one of these individuals is in danger.
The question is… who will survive?
We will notify you soon a full trailer arrives.
